Spicysoft Corporation (USA) was established in San Jose CA in Dec 2008, as the 100% subsidiary company of Spicysoft (Japan), to develop the mobile social web service wherein independent creators share their contents with users throughout the mobile phone, in the U.S.
Motoyasu Yamada, the founder & CEO of Spicysoft Japan & USA, established Spicysoft (Japan) in Tokyo in Nov 1999, after the career as a freelance programmer and leaving Tokyo University.
In Feb 2001, we started up the mobile application sharing site, APPLI-GET, and contracted with Softbank Mobile as the official MIDP content aggregator in 2002. There is no official MIDP content aggregator except us in Japan now. We launched the mobile comic sharing and SNS site, Manga Get, in Aug 2008.

Spicysoft is going to launch the beta service in the U.S. and China in the autumn of 2009.Manga-Get is the mobile comic sharing service.

Independent comic creators contribute comics and they share comics with readers throughout the mobile internet all over the world.
We offer free comic download, community for comic lovers, and the comic viewer by which users can read comic comfortably, for all mobile users and serve the automatic convertor and converting authoring tool as the web service, from paper comics to cell-phone-optimized format and advertising revenue sharing for comic creators.

Spicysoft Japan started Appli-Get in 2001 and since then, more than 4,624 individual creators have uploaded more than 7,789 mobile applications until July 2009.

The research by Impress R&D in 2008 announced that Appli-Get was the 2nd most popular mobile game service in Japan.
In fact, some individual creators have earned, on average, 10M USD per year on Appli-Get and now makes living by only his work. His game, "チャリ走(Chari-so)", which means bicycle-running in Japanese, is the 2nd most popular mobile game among female Japanese teenagers.
